Senior Center Hopes to Reopen in February

The Sugar River Senior Center is closed to the public due to COVID numbers being so high in our area. Keeping our seniors safe is our number one priority. They will continue to offer home delivered meals, foot care, medical equipment loans and many other services. If you need assistance, please do not hesitate to call them at (608) 424-6007.
Foot Care is able to continue because it is one person at a time, by appointment only, and if you are in need of medical equipment please call the center and set up a time to come in and pick up what you need. They are still in the office working, even though the doors are locked.
The center hopes to reopen in February, but will continue to take things on a day-to-day basis as they are ever changing. They are still asking participants to register for activities that you plan to attend, so that they can keep group sizes small once they return. Please be sure to sign up ahead of time because once the activity is full, they will put you on a waiting list.
Please keep in mind that this continues to be a stressful time for everyone, be kind to one another. They will get back to in-person activities, trips, and fun events as soon as they can. Everyone at the senior center misses seeing all of you, but would rather be cautious and keep everyone safe and healthy.
