Spread the Word about Road Rally 2015

This venture, if you choose to participate, starts at Citgo on River Street in Belleville, also known as the Station. Please line up your cars according to when you arrive. Do NOT forget to register with us when we arrive. We will have a table. You must sign in. You must have your team name when you sign in. Please do NOT arrive prior to 7:00 a.m. We will send out the first car close to 8:00 a.m. I reread this, and I sound a little bossy…We might be a little early. If we have our crap together, and hopefully by then, we will have it all together.
This is a big deal! This has consumed a lot of our time! This has been lots of fun, some headaches, a stomachache, and long times in a vehicle. Don’t ever come back and tell us that we have no idea what you have been through. We have sat week after week in a vehicle trying to figure out things. Then it took a while to learn to walk again after being folded up in that car for all that time. And this happens week after week as this can be a head trip! And the things that we have found out there in the middle of nowhere — priceless! We could not have planted some of these things!! We thank all the landowners and homeowners for having all this stuff to tease you with. Of course, we can’t use it all, but we are grateful for what we have so far!
So we have struggled with the penmanship, with the scribbling, as minds were changed and things got moved, and we couldn’t figure out what was supposed to go where. Those nuns must have made a terrible mistake when they awarded me with the best penmanship in fifth grade. It must have been some other kid!! Because it is awful!! Indescribable, illegible, unintelligible, and thank goodness, I have a computer or two at home so I can write notes. Yup, I type them out, as I do want to make sure those of us who are here, can read it! I am so very sorry, Barb, that we go through this each year. Please, forgive me.
We would really appreciate if you would spread the word about this fun event! We will be preparing for 40 cars, and we would love to get close to sending out that many of you!! The more the merrier! We go to great lengths and lots of counting of those game pieces to make sure we have that amount for the just-in-case situation!
By now, you must have picked out your favorite people to ride with you. If not your favorite people, pick out some brilliant ones, some with an eagle eye for spotting UFOs, someone who is gifted with the reference material. We use all types to come up with this stuff; consider yourselves warned. Join us please!!!! See you on the morning of Saturday, November 7th!
