<strong>Iowa State University Announces Spring 2018 Dean’s List </strong>
Approximately 9,196 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the spring semester 2018 Dean’s List. Students named to the Dean’s List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale, while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.
Students from our area included on the Dean’s List are: <strong>Colton S. Purdy</strong>, 4, Industrial Design, Albany; <strong>Britney E. Markhardt</strong>, 2, Community and Regional Planning, Belleville.
<strong>UW-Green Bay Announces Spring 2018 Academic Honors</strong>
The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay has made public the names of students receiving academic honors for the spring 2018 semester. Students who earn a 4.0 grade point average, which represents all “A” grades, receive highest honors. High honors go to those earning 3.99 to 3.75 grade point averages. Honors are given to students earning 3.74 to 3.50 grade point averages. Students are listed by the county claimed as place of permanent residence. All were full-time undergraduate students in the spring term, earning 12 or more credits of graded coursework. <strong>Kallista R. Baebler</strong>, Monticello, Semester Honors, has been named to the list.
<strong>UW-Stevens Point Undergraduates Honored for Scholastic Achievement</strong>
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point honored more than 2,260 undergraduate students for attaining high grade point averages during the spring semester of the 2017-2018 academic year. Full-time undergraduate students who earned Highest Honors had grade points of 3.90 to 4.0 (4.0 equals straight A); High Honors had grade point averages from 3.75 to 3.89; Honors had grade point averages from 3.50 to 3.74. Students from our area who received honors include: <strong>Jordan Stefanik</strong>, Albany, Highest Honors; <strong>Kyle Woyak</strong>, Albany, Honors; <strong>Lindsey Woller</strong>, Belleville, Highest Honors; <strong>Rachel Love</strong>, Monticello, Honors.
