The Sugar River Raiders girls soccer team played at Columbus on May 11th. They won the match, 1-0.
Kirsten Krantz scored the goal at 75:00 in the second half.
Morgan Thompson had 3 saves at GK.
On May 15th, the team hosted their annual Swiss Kick tournament in New Glarus.
Against Dodgeville, Sugar River won 4-0.
Jaylynn Benson, assisted by Riley O’Flanagan, scored, along with Bella Brenkman, assisted by Kirsten Krantz, and Krantz scored on her own, in the first half. In the second half, Riley O’Flanagan, assisted Lainey Winkers, scored the final goal for the team.
Sugar River played Dodgeville again, winning 9-1.
In the first half, goals were scored by Kirsten Krantz and Regyn Jelle. In the second half, Carrah Bainbridge scored 3 goals, Jaylynn Benson scored 2 goals, and Kirsten Krantz and Riley O’Flanagan each scored 1 goal.
The girls hosted Lakeside Lutheran on May 18th. They will host Wisconsin Heights on May 20th, and Evansville on May 21st.
