Sugar River Rapids Wins Heidi Invitational

The Sugar River Rapids swim team hosted the Heidi Invitational on Saturday, June 23, 2018. Teams that participated along with Sugar River were Belleville, Bishops Bay, Monroe and Platteville.
In the Girls 7-8 100 SC Meter Medley Relay, the SRR team consisting of Kennedy Sysko, Sydney Doll, Ansley Lynch and Sophia Smith won the event, with a time of 1:49.87. Finishing 4th was the team of Ellie Parman, Kennedy Shunk, Tess Hedeman and Maya Martinson with a time of 2:12.12. In 5th place was the team of Cartney Lynch, Sylvia Wahl, Kalia Malaise and Nicole Burton with a time of 2:21.37, and in 7th place was the team of Hadley Ness, Isabella Muggenburg, Emma Funk and Haley Julseth with a time of 3:01.13.
The SRR team consisting of Kellen Martinson, Kelan Bay, Griffin Noll and Donovan Umhoefer won the Boys 7-8 100 SC Meter Medley Relay, with a time of 2:17.62.
Winning the Girls 9-10 200 SC Meter Medley Relay was the SRR team of Kaia Morrison, Holly Maynard, Maggie Piper and Hadleigh Shunk, with a time of 3:16.00. In 2nd place was the team of Amelia Geib, Lauryn Arnett, Piper Faber and Kate Parman with a time of 3:20.98, 5th place was the team of Emerson DeRouin, Amalia Morrison, Braelynn Holz and Mia Sies with a time of 4:44.80, in 6th place was the team of Ava Hendrickson, Ella Skidmore, Luella Meter Brooks and Katrina Sies with a time of 4:53.57, and the 7th place team was Allyson Judd, Mia Skidmore, Elizabeth Smith and Josephine Emond with a time of 5:01.14.
Winning the Boys 9-10 200 SC Meter Medley Relay was the SRR team of Simon Zimmerman, Milo Johnson, Ryan Roelli and Grady Johnson, with a time of 3:16.60. Finishing third was the SRR team of Chase Doll, Tucker Sysko, Tyse Hoesly and Aidan Leppien with a time of 4:10.13. In 4th place was the Belleville team of Evan Edge, Joe Glinski, Dylan Kremer and Austin McKinley with a time of 4:49.85.
The SRR team of Danika Doll, Camryn Arnett, Delaney Lynch and Riley Hoesly won the Girls 11-12 200 SC Meter Medley Relay with a time of 2:46.85. In 2nd place was the SRR team of Annaka Boldebuck, Natalie Wahl, Ruth Marty and Hannah Boldebuck with a time of 2:55.34, the 3rd place finisher was the SRR team of Brady Noll, Lia Longo, Alaina Smith and Aleeya Doss with a time of 3:20.77, the 5th place finisher was the Belleville team of Camryn Bublitz, Ellie Doyle, Addison Edge and Riley Hanson with a time of 3:25.69.
The winner of the Boys 11-12 200 SC Meter Medley Relay was the SRR team of Edan Doll, Mason Yaun, Breckyn Thompson and Emery Johnson with a time of 2:43.79.
In the Girls 13-14 200 SC Meter Medley Relay, the winning team was SRR, consisting of Morgan Thompson, Peyton Yaun, Samantha Schiro and Keatan Zimmerman, with a time of 2:34.23. In 2nd place was the SRR team of Abigail Gobeli, Margaret Emond, Norah McCarthy and Allison Gobeli with a time of 2:48.54.
The SRR team of Clem Meter Brooks, Brycen Teasdale, Eli Zimmerman and Chayce Teasdale placed 3rd in the Boys 13-14 200 SC Meter Medley Relay, with a time of 3:15.93.
The Belleville team consisting of Hunter Lindstrom, Caden Myers, Joe Powless and Jacob Jensen-Moyer won the Boys 15-18 200 SC Meter Medley Relay, with a time of 3:25.79.
In the Girls 6 & Under 25 SC Meter Freestyle event, SRR team members Anya Morrison (43.20) placed 2nd, Kensington Yaun (1:00.68) placed 3rd and Harper Sysko (2:09.31) placed 4th.
Francis Meter Brooks, SRR, won the Boys 6 & Under 25 SC Meter Freestyle event, with a time of 36.98. Placing 3rd was SRR's Cullen Hedeman (44.42).

The 1st place team consisted of Samantha Schiro, Helen Marty, Keatan Zimmerman and Peyton Yaun, with a time of 2:16.21, and the 2nd place team was Norah McCarthy, Allison Gobeli, Abigail Gobeli and Morgan Thompson, who finished in a time of 2:28.17.
