Sugar River Soccer Continues Undefeated Season

The Sugar River soccer team played DeForest on May 16th, winning 4-1.
Morgan Hustad, assisted by Kalin O’Rourke, scored the first goal for the team about seven and a half minutes into the game. About 20 minutes later, Julia McNamer, assisted by Kirsten Krantz, scored Sugar River’s second goal.
In the second half, Sydney Gentilli, assisted by Kalin O’Rourke, scored goal three at the 64:46 mark which was followed by a goal by Julia McNamer, assisted by Samantha Trainor, at 66:27.
On May 17th, the team played at Wisconsin Heights, winning 3-1.
Kalin O’Rourke, assisted by Ellie Gentilli, scored the first goal, and in the second half, two goals were scored.
With the win against Heights, the Raiders clinch a share of the Capitol Conference Championship.
The team played at McFarland on May 18th and hosted Lake Mills on May 22nd. They will host Stoughton on May 24th for Senior Night.
