The Hall of History at New Glarus' Swiss Historical Village & Museum now has a new mural to complement the one created by Paul Grossenbacher in the 1970's. Grossenbacher, an influential member of the New Glarus Historical Society Board for many years, originally created two murals of the Swiss landscape but over the years one of the murals became damaged beyond repair. Thanks to a grant from the New Glarus Community Foundation, funds were available to hire artist Emida Roller to create a new mural. Roller lives in Madison, is originally from Nigeria, and is a lead artist for Dane Arts mural Arts (DAMA). More about Roller's life and work can be found at: http://designsbyemida.com/.
