Town of New Glarus Annual Tree Sale

The Town of New Glarus Parks Commission is once more holding its annual Tree Sale to benefit local organizations. Species available this year are American Plum, Common Ninebark, Domestic Apple, Red Oak, Sugar Maple, and White Pine, all at $4.00 each. Order forms will be mailed soon, so Town residents should be watching their mailboxes. The deadline to order is December 27, 2021.
The date for tree pickups is expected to be Saturday, April 23, 2022, at the Town Hall, 26 5th Avenue, New Glarus. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will again be scheduling pickup times with individual customers. Please check www.TownOfNewGlarus.com for additional info.
The Parks Commission is currently planning its future recreational and educational programs and is continuing its efforts to build hiking and biking trails throughout the Town. If you reside in the Town of New Glarus, please consider adding your voice and energy to these projects. The Parks Commission meets in person at 6:00 p.m., on the third Wednesday of each month, at the Town Hall and via Zoom. Agendas are posted at least 24 hours in advance on the Town’s website. All are welcome!
