Volunteering: Vital to our Future

Hospice is a special type of caring that focuses on living fully to the end of life, and supporting patients and families experiencing a life limiting illness. Volunteers are an important part of the hospice interdisciplinary team that supports patients and families. Volunteers assist the hospice program in many ways, ranging from direct patient contact to administrative support and fundraising. Volunteers are asked to provide only those services they are comfortable with.
Due to increasing demand, HHU-Hospice has a continued need for volunteers in all communities in Southern Wisconsin. Volunteers are needed in both administrative and patient-interactive areas. Upcoming training sessions include:
Home Health United – Madison (2802 Walton Commons Lane, Madison)
Monday, April 11, from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Saturday, May 14, from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
