Whitney's Academy of Dance Companies Do Well In Competitions

Whitney's Academy of Dance of Belleville currently has four competitive dance companies. The Senior Company consists of Ayisa Ceesay, Emily Elkins, Brooke Everson, Emily Flick, Demarious King, Callie Lahey, Heidi Wegehaupt and Eliza Woods. There are two Junior Company Teams with members Alana Bay, Ava Benash, Charlotte Fox, Haven Hatleberg, Bentley Hotchkin, Taylor Morgan, Anika Pederson, Brooke Roach, Natalie Wahl, Ali Zimmerman. New this year is our Mini Company Team, Liliana Forner, Cambree Moyer and Danaysia Robinson. 
The four Performance Companies competed in three local dance competitions this year, earning a variety of awards that included High Golds, Platinums, Overall awards, Dance scholarships and special Judges awards. One award that was received was the Sportsmanship award from Legacy Dance Competition. This award is given to the Studio as a whole, not just one specific dancer or dance routine.
