Wildcat Cross Country News

Last Saturday was the Capitol North and South JV and Varsity Cross Country Meet. The Wildcats faced some talented competition. Both boys and girls teams placed 5th out of 6 teams, but ran solid races. The boys were led by Jordan Wilder with a time of 18:56, Matthew Loshaw with a time of 19:26, and Sean Campbell with a time of 19:27.
The girls were led by Tayler Yapp, who placed 8th overall and made 2nd Team All-Conference with a time of 22:47, followed by Lainey Winkers with a time of 23:51, and Adrianna Herritz with a season best of 25:12.
We are in Boscobel next Saturday for our Sectional State Qualifier! Good luck Wildcats!
