On December 12th, the Wildcats boys basketball team played at Cuba City. Down by 5 at the half, the Wildcats went on to lose the game despite dialing it up on offense in the second half. The final score was Belleville 72, Cuba City 78.
Andrew Ace, who sunk six 3-point shots, led the team with 24 points scored, while Nathan Meier scored 10 points and Kaden DeSmet scored 9 points.
On December 16th, Belleville hosted Lake Mills. The Wildcats had some shooting trouble early on, but came back from being down by 16 to win the game with an evenly distributed offense and good second half defense. The final score was Belleville 74, Lake Mills 67.
Nathan Meier scored 16 points, while Andrew Ace scored 13 points, DeMarcus Conner put 12 on the board and Kaden DeSmet scored 10 points.
The Wildcats played at Lancaster on December 19th. They will play at Turner on December 22nd, host Catholic Memorial on December 28th and play at Monticello on January 3rd.
