On February 15th, the Belleville Wildcats hosted Marshall. The Wildcats were ahead by 4 at the half and the teams each scored 27 points during the second half, giving Belleville the win. The final score was Belleville 57, Marshall 53.
Royce Clark scored 15 points and had 10 rebounds, while Austin Fahey scored 15 points and had 11 rebounds and 2 assists and Jacob Shrader scored 8 points and had 4 rebounds.
On February 16th, the Wildcats hosted Albany. The score was tied at 23 at halftime, but Albany seemed to lose most of their steam in the second half, only scoring 20 points to Belleville's 46. The final score of the game was Belleville 69, Albany 43.
Austin Fahey led the team with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists, while Jacob Shrader scored 9 points and had 4 rebounds and Sawyer Fahey scored 7 points and had 1 rebound and 3 assists.
The Wildcats play at Marshall on February 18th, and at Cambridge on February 21st for their last game of the regular season. They are seeded #2 for WIAA tournament play and received a bye for round one. The Wildcats will play the winner of the #7 Brodhead vs #10 Montello game on Friday, March 1st, at home.
