Wildcats Victorious Over Knights

The Belleville baseball team hosted the New Glarus Knights on Tuesday, May 1st, winning 5-4. New Glarus took the early lead and the Wildcats trailed behind until the bottom of the 7th inning when they scored the runs that would win the game.
Jaydon Winkers was 2x3 at bat for the Wildcats, with one run scored. Coltyn Winkers and Austin Fahey were both 1x3 at bat, both scoring a run each. Nate Mabis scored the other two runs for Belleville.
Cooper Dreyfus was 3x4 at bat for the Knights, scoring two runs. Connor Siegenthaler was 2x3 at bat, with one run scored and one RBI. Noah Zimmerman and Andrew Nimtz were both 1x2 at bat, with Zimmerman scoring one run.
The Wildcats played at Lakeside Lutheran on May 7th, hosted a double header against Waterloo on May 8th, played at Cambridge on May 9th and will host Argyle on May 10th. They will play at Marshall on May 11th and host Cambridge on May 12th.
