PeeWee A - Perfect on Weekend

Reedsburg-Wisconsin Dells (RWD). Tessa Janecke put up two goals in the first period on two passes by Alyssa Knauf to RWD's one. At the top of the second period, Alyssa Knauf lit the lamp on a pass from Tessa Janecke. RWD added two goals in the second while the Avalanche lit the lamp another time by Hayden Roth, assisted by Roman Bauer. With a 4-3 lead in the third period, the Avalanche scored again by Hayden Roth with a playmaker by Alyssa Knauf. The Avalanche won 5-3, and outshot RWD 30-21.
On Saturday, they again faced RWD. The Avalanche dominated the game with great passes and defensive plays, winning 6-3. Scoring for the Avalanche were Hayden Roth (2), Alyssa Knauf, Rob Schroeder, and Tessa Janecke (2). Alyssa Knauf earned a playmaker with three assists. Hayden Roth earned two assists. Goaltender Jack Leverton recorded 32 saves.
On Sunday, the PeeWee A team went to Baraboo. The Avalanche easily shut out Baraboo 11-0. Scoring for the Avalanche were Rob Schroeder (2), Hayden Roth (2), Alyssa Knauf, Tessa Janecke (2), Blaze Janecke, and Roman Bauer with a hat trick. Earning assists were Roman Bauer, Hayden Roth, and Rob Schroeder, each with a playmaker, Alyssa Knauf, Anna Malone, Alvin Buholzer (2), and Tessa Janecke. The Avalanche outshot Baraboo 52-10.
<strong>Bantam A Win Two of Three on Weekend</strong>
On February 19 the Avalanche Bantam A team traveled to Reedsburg. It was a tough game, but the Avalanche prevailed, winning 1-0 over RWD. Tessa Janecke, assisted by Anika Einbeck, scored the lone goal. Goaltender Heath Bear recorded 22 saves.
On Saturday, the Avalanche faced RWD. Travis Edmunds, assisted by Cade Janecke, opened the game scoring in the second period. RWD then scored their only goal. Luke Kuberski, Roman Bauer (from the blue line), Cade Janecke, Travis Edmunds, and Payton Stauffacher (from the blue line) each lit the lamp. Earning assists on those goals were Cade Janecke, Hayden Roth, and Haley Knauf. The Avalanche won 6-1, and outshot RWD 27-14.
On Sunday the Avalanche took on Baraboo and, unfortunately, fell 2-0. Goaltender Heath Bear recorded 29 saves.
