Trivia Contest Earns Scholarship Money

On Thursday, August 4, Tofflers Pub & Grill owner Steve Longo presented the proceeds of the Tofflers-Rippe Keane Music Scholarship to New Glarus graduate Reagan Andersen. According to Longo, she was chosen based on responses from New Glarus faculty about her kindness and character. The money for the scholarship (over $1,300) was raised during Tofflers' Trivia nights. Tofflers donated one dollar for every person who attended, and Rippe Keane Marketing matched the donation. There were also other donations throughout the year.
Tofflers Trivia will be held every Tuesday night beginning on September 13, and Tofflers Pub & Grill and Rippe Keane Marketing are hoping to raise enough money this year for even more scholarships.
