Help Take a Bite Out of Cancer!

Join the Relay For Life of Green County Committee members from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Monday, March 12, at the Monroe Moose Lodge, 639 3rd Avenue, and help Take a Bite Out of Cancer during their Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser.
Cost: $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for children ages 4-12; children younger than 4 eat free.
Menu: Spaghetti with meat or marinara sauce, garlic bread, green salad, homemade desserts and milk, lemonade, coffee or water.
“Carry outs are available and there will be a silent auction and luminaria sales,” said Jo Ann Steuri. “Proceeds will support the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life in Green County on June 23.”
Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in thousands of communities and 27 countries. Join committee members to bring communities together to remember loved ones lost, honor survivors of all cancers and raise money to help the American Cancer Society make a global impact on cancer.
Turner Hall and Relay For Life of Green County present an afternoon celebrating cancer survivors with music by Gary’s Ridgeland Dutchmen from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Sunday, April 29, at Turner Hall, 1217 17th Avenue, in Monroe.
There is a $12.00 admission with $1.00 from each admission going to Relay For Life of Green County. There will be special drawings, door prizes and fundraisers for the American Cancer Society. During the breaks, the group will recognize cancer survivors, promote the June 23 Relay For Life event and have a lot of fun.
