Monticello Track Participates in Blue Jay Invite

The Monticello track team participated in the Blue Jay Invite recently.
<strong>Girls Results</strong>
Alyssen Noriega won the 100M dash, with a time of 13.07. Courtney Kammes placed 11th with a time of 14.37.
Placing 3rd in the 200M dash was Alyssen Noriega, with a time of 27.76. Ali Risley placed 8th with a time of 29.49.
In the 800M run, Mackie Errthum placed 5th with a time of 2:49.39. Errthum placed 4th in the 1600M run, with a time of 6:39.32.
In the 300M hurdles, Maggie Bak placed 8th with a time of 56.21.
In the discus event, Ali Risley placed 12th with a throw of 70-01.
In the long jump event, Courtney Kammes placed 13th with a 12-07.25.

In the 800M run, Lucas Heiser placed 21st with a time of 2:45.30.
In the 1600M run, Rudy Wicker placed 9th with a time of 5:16.35, while Robert Burt placed 17th with a time of 5:33.55.
In the 3200M run, Simon Blohowiak placed 12th with a time of 12:28.72.
In the 300M hurdles, Cody Garfoot placed 8th with a time of 48.52.
The team of Robert Burt, Cody Garfoot, Lucas Heiser and Rudy Wicker placed 7th in the 4x400 relay with a time of 4:10.80.
In the 4x800 relay, the team of Simon Blohowiak, Logan Blum, Robert Burt and Rudy Wicker placed 6th, with a time of 9:28.63.
In the shot put event, Jarrett Long placed 27th with his throw of 27-06. Long placed 24th in the discus event with 74-04.
In the long jump, Cody Garfoot placed 11th with 16-05.25.
In the triple jump, Logan Blum placed 15th with 27-05.25.
The team’s April 17th meet at River Ridge was postponed due to the weather.
