New Glarus Lions Replace Trash Barrels in Parks

The New Glarus Lions worked with village government and businesses to replace trash barrels in several local parks recently.
Among the contributors to this project are the New Glarus Lions, Judd's Auto Body and the New Glarus Brewery.  The barrels were donated by the New Glarus Brewery, or purchased by the Lions, and painted by Jeff Judd of Judd's Auto Body.  The Lions club also purchased 15 new tops.
Come check them out during the Lions annual Chicken Barbecue on Friday, May 25, 2018, from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. All proceeds from the barbecue benefit local scholarships and other community projects, such as this. While you eat, enjoy music by Larry Daehn.
