Local Memorial Day Programs

<strong>Belleville </strong>
10:00 a.m., Belleville High School Auditorium

<strong>Monticello </strong>
10:30 a.m., in the Rehmstedt Gymnasium.

<strong>New Glarus </strong>
Parade at 9:30 a.m., starting at the New Glarus Village Hall (see parade route changes on page 6). Following the parade there will be a program to follow at the New Glarus Elementary School at approximately 10:00 a.m. After the program there will be dedication of the newest marker at the Veterans Park.

<strong>Memorial Day Parade Route </strong>
The annual Memorial Day Parade Route will begin at the New Glarus Village Hall, at approximately 9:30 a.m., on Monday, May 28. Entrants should plan on beginning to line up at 9:00 a.m.
The parade will then proceed east on 4th Avenue to Railroad Street, then turn right and go south on Railroad to 7th Ave (crossing STH 39).
The parade will proceed from 7th Avenue to 1st Street, and continue on 1st Street to 14th Avenue to 2nd Street and ending at the Elementary school. There will be a Memorial Day program at the Elementary School which will be followed a dedication of the Desert Storm monument in Veterans Park.
