The Green County Fair will be honoring past and present military men and women of Green County, Wisconsin, during the 7:00 p.m. Professional Bull Riding and Barrel Racing performance. The New Glarus VFW Honor Guard will be presenting the colors.
Military personnel will receive one free ticket to the fair, available at the gate. Valid only on Wednesday, July 18, you must show your military ID; one $5.00 food voucher to be used at the 4-H Youth and Auction building from 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.; reserved seating at the performance for personnel and their families; an Arena Tour/Meet the Bull Riders from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m.; an autograph session with the contestants post-performance.

Along with Military Appreciation Day, Friday, July 20th will be Emergency Services Day – free admission for police officers, firefighters and EMT workers with valid agency ID, and Special Needs Day – with free carnival rides and parking for all special needs persons from 10:00 a.m.-Noon. Saturday, July 21st is Kids Day, with free admission for those ages 11 and under until 1:30 p.m.; and Sunday, July 22nd is Pioneer Day, featuring $5.00 admission for those ages 65+.
