First Adventsfenster Window to be Revealed Sunday

It’s finally here - the beginning of the Adventsfenster season. One window will be revealed each night at 6:00 p.m. (unless otherwise noted), from December 1st until December 24th, and will conclude with a community window walk on Sunday, December 29th, at 4:00 p.m. Many locations will be offering a special treat, hot cocoa and other entertainment.
On Sunday, December 1st, the first window will be revealed at Roy’s Market, 600 STH 69, created with help from the Girl Scouts. New Glarus homeschoolers did the art work at the New Glarus Police Department, 313 2nd Street, and it will be revealed on December 2nd. On December 3rd, the window at Touch of Relief, 109 5th Avenue, will be revealed. December 4th brings us to Brenda’s Blumenladen at 17 6th Avenue. At 5:00 p.m., on Thursday, December 5th, Sugar River Shoppe will reveal their window. December 6th is St. Nikolaus Day and Esther’s will reveal their window at 523 1st Street. The New Glarus Chamber will be revealing their window on December 7th at 418 Railroad Street, with art work by Small World. The Chamber’s reveal will be held in conjunction with the annual tree lighting.
