Greenwoods State Bank is entering into an agreement to sell its building on Main Street in Monticello, Wisconsin, to the Village of Monticello. The bank continues to serve customers at its 401 W. Coates Avenue branch in Monticello.
The building on Main Street currently houses staff offices. The team members who work there all will transfer to the bank’s Evansville, Wisconsin, location once the company transfers ownership to the Village.
“Because of the nature of our operations, we no longer have need for the building on Main Street,” said Jennifer Blumer. “We are delighted to offer it to the Village of Monticello so it will have adequate space to provide services to our community. The building is in wonderful shape, and we are confident it will serve the Village well.”
“Greenwoods State Bank has been committed to the Monticello community for many years,” Blumer continued. “This is home for many of our employees, and we care about the community’s success just as much as they do. No one wants an empty building, so this has been a win-win for both the Village and Greenwoods and the customers.”
