Family Promise of Green County to Hold Raffle

Family Promise of Green County celebrates its 10th Anniversary this year. The local chapter was founded in November 2011, and since that time, they have served over 300 families, a total of over 700 people, half of which have been children. Its three-tiered model seeks to “prevent” families from becoming homeless, provide “shelter” to those who need it, and empower families to independence through “stabilization.”
Each year, Family Promise of Green County hosts its signature “10 Grand in Your Hand” fundraiser. While last year’s fundraising event and raffle had to be cancelled, it returns this year via a new virtual format. Held on Thursday, June 17th, at 6:00 p.m., the event will be live-streamed on Facebook Live with an accompanying silent ONLINE auction taking place during the week leading up to the event.
A limited number of 250 tickets are sold at $100 each. Tickets are randomly drawn, with every 10th ticket receiving a prize valued at least $100. The last ticket to be drawn could receive the $10,000 prize. Several tickets have already been purchased by friends of Family Promise. Only 90 tickets remain!
