<strong>Area Students Named to Dean’s List at UW-River Falls</strong>
The University of Wisconsin-River Falls spring semester Dean’s List honoring 1,788 students has been released by Registrar Kelly Browning. To be named to the Dean’s List, a full-time undergraduate must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a scale of 4.0, or midway between an “A” and “B” average. Students from our area that earned a spot on the list include Travis Oliver, Albany, Agricultural Business, and Anna Kachel, Monticello, Animal Science.

<strong>Basina Graduates From Ohio University</strong>
Grayson Basina, Brooklyn, graduated with a Master of Fine Arts (Production Design) from the College of Fine Arts at Ohio University recently.

<strong>Chenoweth to Graduate this Spring From the University of Iowa</strong>
This spring, some 5,300 University of Iowa undergraduate, graduate, and professional students received their degrees under extraordinary circumstances. With the coronavirus pandemic continuing to upend traditional educational practices across campus and the country, the 2020-21 academic year has been a challenge. John Chenoweth, New Glarus, was among the students conferred their degrees. Chenoweth was a student in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, whose program of study was Journalism and Mass Communication. The degree awarded was a Bachelor of Arts.

More than 7,000 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa were named to the Dean’s List for the 2021 spring semester. Christian Arnett, New Glarus, and John Chenoweth, New Glarus, earned this honor.

Area Students Make Dean’s List at Edgewood College</strong>
The following students have been named to the Dean’s List at Edgewood College for the Spring 2021 semester: Madison Peters, Albany; Erin Kittleson, Belleville; Sophia Grady, Brooklyn; Anika Beutler, New Glarus. Full-time undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students who earn a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher are eligible for the Dean’s List after completing 24 credit hours of study at Edgewood College.
