Town of Primrose Crash

On Tuesday, June 8th, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Dane County Sheriff's deputies responded to an SUV vs farm sprayer crash at CTH U and Ridge Drive, in the Town of Primrose. The driver of the SUV, Emily C. Pomplun, age 27, pulled out in front of an on-coming farm sprayer.
The farm sprayer came to rest on top of the SUV, trapping the driver inside. Ms. Pomplun had to be extricated and was transported by MedFlight to UW Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The operator of the farm sprayer was not injured. There were also two children in the backseat of the SUV who were not injured, but were transported as a precaution by Belleville EMS.
Dane County Deputies, New Glarus Area EMS, New Glarus Fire Department, Belleville EMS, Belleville Fire Department, Belleville Police Department, Mt. Horeb Fire Department and MedFlight responded to the call.
