1:00 p.m. Euchre Card Party at the Legion Hall in New Glarus. Doors open at 11:45 a.m. for lunch and warm-up games. Cost is $4.00 per player. Everyone welcome.

5:00 p.m. Registration begins for the Mr. Barlow Wine Walk, a fundraiser for the Chalet of the Golden Fleece, made possible in partnership with New Glarus Vision. Tickets for the walk are $25.00 and are available at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/mr-barlows-wine-walk-tickets-5003851454, and it is highly recommended that you purchase them in advance as availability on the night of the event is not guaranteed due to a limited number of tickets being made available. There are 14 participating businesses in New Glarus.

6:00 p.m. Free yoga class at the Yoga Center, 102 2nd Street, New Glarus, sponsored by the New Glarus Public Library. A limited number of yoga mats are available to borrow – if you have your own, please bring it. Students of all ability levels are invited to participate and no registration is required.

6:30 p.m. UW-Madison Geography Professor Jack Williams will be speaking on the ecological responses to climate change since the last ice age at the Belleville Public Library. This presentation is part of the Wisconsin Science Festival.

7:00 p.m. Alcoholics Anonymous meeting at Grace United Methodist Church, 326 W. Pearl Street, Belleville. Group meets every Thursday.

7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Survivors of Suicide Peer Support Group Meeting at the Health and Human Services Building of Iowa County, 303 W. Chapel Street, Dodgeville. Open to all adults who have been touched by suicide, whether it be a co-worker, friend, family, neighbor, significant other or client passing away due to suicide. 10:15 a.m. New Glarus Public Library Preschool story time. This week’s theme is Ladybugs.

3:00 p.m. Insect Ambassadors at the New Glarus Public Library. Graduate students from UW-Madison will be visiting to teach everyone about insects through an interactive program.

7:00 p.m. Alcoholics Anonymous meeting at the Zwingli United Church of Christ, 416 E. Lake Avenue, Monticello. Group meets every Friday.

1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Brooklyn Area Historical Society’s annual Open House at the Brooklyn Community Building, lower level, 102 N. Rutland Avenue. Author Carrie Meyer will be presenting information from her book, Letters from the Boys.

3:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Primrose Lutheran Church Annual Fall Supper at the church, located at 8770 Ridge Drive, Belleville. Menu includes Ham, Veal Balls, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Corn, Cranberry Relish, Lefse, Rolls, Cheese, Norwegian Baked Goodies, Pies and Beverages. Tickets are $12.00 for adults, $5.00 for children 6-10, and children 5 and under eat free. Carryouts are available for $12.00. Everyone is welcome to attend, reservations are not needed. Handicap seating is available on the main level. Lefse will be for sale for $12/dozen while the supply lasts.

5:00 p.m. The Democratic Party of Green County will meet at Leisure Lanes, 2308 6th Avenue, Monroe. Social and dining time begins at 5:00 p.m .; with the meeting at 6:00 p.m. This month’s guest speaker will be Congressman Mark Pocan; Candidate for Green County Coroner Monica Hack; and Colin Clay from the DPW Coordinated Campaign. The meeting is open to the public.
