Helen Reinhardt

Helen Reinhardt, age 70 of Belleville, passed away October 9, 2017, at home. Helen was born on July 2, 1947, in Madison, and returned home to the small town of Dayton, Wisconsin, with her parents, Earl and Rose (Disch) Ethridge. A place she enjoyed and shared a happy childhood with brothers, sisters, cousins, and friends.

After graduation from Belleville High School, she moved and worked in Madison for the next 12 years. During this time she married Ervin Reinhardt and was blessed with a daughter, Denise.

In 1977 she moved to her home in Sauk Prairie. She was employed as Office Administrator of Surgical Associates for the next 30 years. After retiring she returned to Belleville. While in Sauk, she took part in Jaycettes, Today's Woman, the school's parents organization, planned Girl Scout meetings at home, taught church school and attended continuing educational classes until recently.

Helen's favorite pastime from a teen on was auto racing. She enjoyed many happy memories and attended both local and NASCAR races. She always had a book she was reading nearby, and a logic puzzle to work on. She also enjoyed gambling and socializing and was fairly successful at both.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Denise (TJ) Cross of Montello, WI; sisters, Shirley (James) Cook of Monroe, WI, Sue (Steve) Yaeger of Oregon, WI; brothers, Harry (Judy) Ethridge of Tulsa, OK, and Phillip (Laura) Ethridge of Apple Valley, CA. She is further survived by her granddaughter, Gabrielle (Nick Sanders) Schuler of Clinton, WI; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Sharon Benson of Pittsville, WI, and Marvin Giesler of Belleville, WI; and nephews, Travis Schnoor and Jeff Giesler.

A gathering of relatives and friends to share memories and food will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., on Friday, October 13, 2017, at the First United Church of Christ, 130 E. Church Street, Belleville, WI. A memorial service will follow at 6:30 p.m. at the church.

The family would like to thank the staff of Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. for the kind and compassionate care given to Helen.
