Wildcat's Season Finishes in Fennimore

The Belleville Wildcats had their sights on State and personal bests at the State Qualifier race in Fennimore last Saturday. Although they came up short for a state bid, the runners fought hard on a rough and hilly course.
The boy’s team was led by Julian Fullbright, who came in 35th overall with a time of 19:57. He was followed by Caden O’Rourke (20:04), Gary Salmela (20:53), Otto Anson (21:15), Sean Campbell (21:57), Alan Woller (22;24) and Derek Shrader (23:06). The boys placed 11th of 18 teams.
The girls placed 9th out of 17 teams and were led by Kalin O’Rourke, who came in at 43th place with a time of 25:29. She was followed by Eve Palmer (25:36), Alexis Walker (26:03), Heidi Wegehaupt (26:39), Angelina Parisot (28:23), Adrianna Herritz (28:38) and Gianna Diaz (28:56)
It was a pleasure working with these kids this season and wish the best for them for the rest of the school year!
