1:00 p.m. Euchre Card Party at the Legion Hall in New Glarus. Doors open at 11:45 a.m. for lunch and warm-up games. Cost is $4.00 per player. Everyone welcome.

8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Green County Family Law Clinic. Staffed by Green County attorneys and volunteers familiar with family law issues, this clinic is a no-cost service for low-income people representing themselves in court. No walk-ins accepted. Call Green County Economic Assistance at (608) 328-9344 for information on scheduling an appointment.

10:00 a.m. Belleville Public Library Preschool Story Hour.

1:00 p.m. Belleville Public Library is showing Mary Poppins Returns, rated PG. Children age 5 and under must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

10:30 a.m. Monticello Easter Egg Hunt in the village park. Will be held at the school in case of inclement weather, please enter through the playground doors.

1:00 p.m. Belleville Easter Egg Hunt in Library Park.

12:30 p.m. Horse (Hoss) and Pepper Card Party at the Sugar River Senior Center, 21 S. Vine Street, in Belleville. Lunch is available from the Senior Citizen Program at 11:30 a.m., with a reservation done by 11:00 a.m. on the Friday before. Cost is $3.00 per player. Everyone welcome.

1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. Belleville Public Library’s Adult Writers Group meets. Share your work and exchange ideas with this casual, supportive group.

6:30 p.m. Community Development Authority meeting at the New Glarus Village Hall.

7:00 p.m. Heroin Anonymous meeting at Peppercorn Banquets and Catering, 1417 Mansion Drive, Monroe (please enter through side door). Meetings are held every Monday.

7:00 p.m. Belleville Library’s Book Discussion Group will be discussing Warlight by Michael Ondaatje.

7:00 p.m. Monticello Historical Society’s Monthly Meeting in the Zwingli UCC Lounge, 416 E. Lake Avenue. This month’s presentation is by Julie Ruegsegger on the history of the Washington Reformation UCC. The public is invited.

7:00 p.m. Alcoholics Anonymous meeting at the Zwingli United Church of Christ, 416 E. Lake Avenue, Monticello.

SAT. APRIL 27

10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. The Belleville Police Department will be accepting drive-up drug drop offs in the Fire Department parking lot at 33 E. Main Street, Belleville. Solid and liquid medications, creams, ointments, nasal sprays, and pet medicine can be left for disposal. Items that CANNOT be accepted are intravenous solutions, inhalers, aerosols, injectables, or sharps/needles. It’s best if pills are emptied into unlabeled plastic baggies; when dropping off meds in containers, please remove the labels or mark out personal information.

10:00 a.m. Jennifer Seese from Job Service will be at the Belleville Public Library sharing tips to improve your resume, interviewing guidelines and how to navigate a Hiring Event or Job Fair.
