Union Bank & Trust Company Holds Important Meetings for Farmers

January 17, 2019

Did you know that there are 77,000 farms in Wisconsin and their average size is 195 acres?

National Crop Insurance Services (NCIS) reports that crop insurance protected $2.2 billion on growing crops in Wisconsin in 2016. There were more than 5.3 million acres insured and $24 million was paid to farmers in indemnities for production and/or revenue losses.

The deadline to purchase crop insurance for this year’s growing season is March 15, 2019.

Union Bank & Trust Company (UB&T) invites farmers to attend Crop Insurance meetings as they plan for 2019. UB&T’s team of Ag experts will share tools to help farmers decide what’s best for their farm business.

With more than 30 years of combined crop insurance experience, UB&T’s experts are dedicated to provide farmers with the best service and knowledge in the industry. UB&T’s crop insurance specialists Jessica Sarbacker, Heather Golz and Emily Johnson will host the meetings.
