Belleville Students Travel to Boston and New York City

April 18, 2019

The Belleville High School Music Department and AP Government class recently took three coach buses full of students and chaperones to Boston and New York City in late March. Everyone had a great time touring historic stops in Boston such as the Freedom Trail tour, the USS Constitution, the Tea Party Museum, the John F. Kennedy Library, and Fenway Park.

The group also spent two and a half days in New York City touring such stops as Times Square, Madison Square Garden, Rockefeller Center, the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island. They also got to see the Broadway musical Anastasia.

Mrs. Meir, Mrs. Krueger, and Mr. Hodgson would like to thank the students for being punctual at all of our stops and for having good attitudes, even when the weather was uncooperative. They would also like to thank the chaperones for their help with such a large group of students.

And lastly, the directors would like to thank the Forever 56 Foundation for their generous donation to the trip. Students were able to use these funds for a meal on the road.
