Hockey Team's Game Against Stoughton Ends in Tie

Seven days after their first meeting of the season, the Monroe Cheesemakers Co-op hockey team once again played the Madison Edgewood Crusaders, this time at LaBahn Arena. The outcome was the same, a loss, this time the Crusaders shut them out, 0-7.
Heath Bear had 45 saves on goal.
On January 28th, the Cheesemakers hosted Sauk Prairie, losing to the visitors 1-6.
Their only goal came in the 3rd period, courtesy of Cooper Dreyfus, assisted by Roman Bauer.

On January 30th, the team headed to Mandt Hockey Arena to face Stoughton. The Cheesemakers were ahead most of the game until the third period when Stoughton scored a goal and tied it up. The game went into overtime but no one scored so the final was a 3-3 tie.
Payton Stauffacher, assisted by Cooper Dreyfus, scored a goal 17 seconds into the game, and around 3 minutes later, Cade Janecke, assisted by Blaze Janecke, scored the second goal for the team. Cade Janecke, assisted by Roman Bauer and Payton Stauffacher, scored the third goal.
Heath Bear had 38 saves on goal.
The team hosted Milton on February 4th at SLICE and will play Monona Grove on February 8th at Hartmeyer Ice Arena and McFarland on February 11th at McFarland Community Ice Arena. They’re currently 13-6 overall, and 4-4-1 in the Badger South, which has them in 4th place in the conference.
