Irish Memories Topic of March GCGS Meeting

March 5, 2020

On Saturday, March 7, 2020, Sandy Wille, a charter member of the GCGS, will present a program on her 2019 trip to Ireland, as well as a short introduction to Irish genealogy. Sandy has been doing genealogy for about 45 years, focusing on her ancestors from Ireland, Norway, and Germany. Her recent trip to Ireland included stops in Counties Cork and Kerry, where her Irish ancestors were from. She has some good stories about her time there, including getting lost in Dublin! The Green County Genealogical Society meeting will be held in the second floor meeting room of the Monroe Public , 925 16th Avenue, at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, March 7.
