UW-Green Bay Announces Spring 2020 Semester Honors
The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay has made public the names of undergraduate students receiving semester honors for the spring 2020 semester. Students who earn a 4.0 grade point average, which represents all “A” grades, receive Highest Honors. High Honors go to students earning 3.99 to 3.75 grade point averages. Honors are given to students earning 3.74 to 3.50 grade point averages. Alexandra Lent, Albany, has earned Semester Highest Honors.
Clarke Announces Spring 2020 Dean’s List
Cole Runde, New Glarus, has been named to the Dean’s List at Clarke University for the Spring 2020 semester. The list recognizes full-time undergraduate Clarke students who have earned a 3.65 grade-point average or above, on a 4.0 scale, with a minimum of 12 graded hours.
Henning Graduates From Cornell Law School
Alex Henning graduated with a Law Degree from Cornell Law School in May; he was runner up to be the graduate speaker at graduation. Alex has accepted a position with a law firm in San Francisco, California. He is a 2012 graduate of Monticello High School and the son of Andrew Henning, Monticello, and Connie Klosterman, Monticello.
Watterson Graduates From Northern Illinois University
Over 2,500 students received their degrees from Northern Illinois University in May. Included among the graduates was Danielle Watterson, New Glarus, who earned a Master of Arts in Philosophy.
Iowa State University Announces Spring 2020 Dean’s List
More than 12,500 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the spring semester 2020 Dean’s List. Students named to the Dean’s List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 9 credit hours of graded course work. Students from our area that earned the honor include Britney E. Markhardt, Belleville, Community and Regional Planning; and Devon V. Boll, New Glarus, Graphic Design.
