New Glarus Bakery Offers Drive-Through Trick-or-Treating This Halloween

October 22, 2020

As families reconsider Halloween traditions, such as trick-or-treating given the pandemic, New Glarus Bakery is celebrating the holiday in a new way this year with the launch of its drive-through trick-or-treating event in front of the bakery from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Friday, October 30, 2020.

On Friday, October 30, families can visit New Glarus Bakery, at 534 1st Street, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., where they can drive up to receive goodie bags at no cost to take home. Halloween costumes are certainly encouraged but are not required to attend. Families may also decorate their vehicles should they choose to.

Angela Neff, owner of New Glarus Bakery, spoke about the event, “We know that customers still want to celebrate Halloween, even if the holiday may look different for us this year. While the pandemic has changed many elements of our everyday lives, we found a new way to safely celebrate the holiday through our drive-through trick-or-treating event this year. We look forward to seeing our favorite ghouls and goblins!”
