Wildcats Have Difficult Week

The Belleville Wildcats played at Poynette on December 28th. Down by 2 at the half, the Wildcats scored almost even with the Poynette team in the second half but lost. The final score was Poynette 57, Belleville 54.
With 24 points, Trevor Syse led the Belleville team in scoring, while Anthony Nolden scored 9 points and Carson Syse scored 8 points.
On December 29th, the team played at Edgerton. Edgerton held a commanding 20 point lead at the half, and outscored the Wildcats by almost the same margin in the second half to win the game. The final score was Edgerton 92, Belleville 54.
Leading the Wildcats with 15 points was Trevor Syse, while Gavin Boyum scored 9 points and Jack Erickson scored 8 points.
Belleville played at Mineral Point on January 4th. Down by 6 at the half, the Wildcats lost their momentum in the second half and lost the game. The final score was Mineral Point 79, Belleville 59.
Leading Belleville with 27 points was Trevor Syse, while Carson Syse scored 10 points and Gavin Boyum scored 9 points.
On January 8th, the Wildcats played at Watertown Luther Prep. Only trailing by 3 at the half, the Wildcats couldn’t keep up with Luther Prep in the second half and lost the game. The final score was Watertown Luther Prep 71, Belleville 65.
With 16 points, Trevor Syse led the Wildcats in scoring, while Andrew Ace scored 13 points and DeMarcus Conner and Gavin Boyum both scored 7 points each.
On January 11th, Belleville played at Monticello. They will play at Cambridge on January 16th, at Waterloo on January 18th and will play against Marshall at Justagame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells on January 19th.
