The School District of Belleville seeks to ensure that each student receives an education that prepares them for the next stage of their life. This upcoming year, the School District of Belleville will introduce Project Lead The Way – a component of STEM. Project Lead the Way offers an opportunity for students discover new subject areas, engage with the community, and achieve their career and educational goals.

The halls and lockers at the School District of Belleville remain quiet. However, the offices are bursting with excitement. The implementation of Partnerships in Comprehensive Literacy (PCL) model provides our staff the opportunity to grow professionally, the resources to engage students, which ultimately will lead to higher student achievement.

Autumn comes in many colors, but yellows tend to predominate in most plants that use September as their blooming anniversary. Most of the yellows are in the sunflower family, too, with an eccentric thistle, ragweed and daisy choosing other colors.
Goldenrods number more than a half dozen species here, covering field after field, marsh after marsh and prairie as well as forest edges.
It is not surprising that one goldenrod's common name is old-field goldenrod.

“On Saturday at the Brodhead tournament, we decided to have several players switch positions and changed our offense a bit. While we did not win in the morning pool play, several coaches mentioned that we were playing better since they last saw us,” stated Head Coach Jill Haag. “By the afternoon, the players had settled into their new positions, and we were able to win both matches and finish the day as the bronze bracket champions, mostly due to the blocking and aggressive hitting from our middles, Lauren O’Connor and Krista Diaz.”
