Annual elections for the New Glarus Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Executive Committee will be held in late January. Any active members of the Chamber of Commerce who would be interested in serving on the board may nominate themselves by emailing info@swisstown.com before January 15, 2020.

The New Glarus Chamber of Commerce recently released the 2020 festival and events schedule.
One change to note is that Polkafest and New Glarus Beer, Bacon & Cheese will be held June 5-6, the first weekend of June, rather than the second weekend. This change is to allow more time between Polkafest and Blues, Brews & Food Trucks on the last weekend of June.
In honor of the 175th anniversary of the founding of New Glarus, the weekend of July 30-August 2 will have several extra festivals and events in addition to Firefest, Alphornman Triathlon, and Volksfest.

Our next Holiday Red Cross Blood Drive will be held on Friday, December 27. The theme being followed this time: BE THE LIFELINE PATIENTS NEED. Give Blood.
Where? New Glarus Bible Church, corner of 3rd Avenue and 6th Street.
When? December 27, 12:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.

On Sunday, December 29th, beginning at 4:00 p.m., join your friends and neighbors for a Community Window Walk to view each of the 24 Adventsfenster Windows throughout the beautiful Village of New Glarus. Please meet at Roy's Market, on STH 69, at 4:00 p.m. You are invited to park at the Chamber parking lot on Railroad Street as that is where the walk will end.
