Street Trees Available to New Glarus Residents

Village of New Glarus property owners interested in getting new terrace trees are invited to participate in the village’s 20th Annual Arbor Day Tree Planting. Plans are now under way for this spring’s planting, which will occur in early May.

MAHS Program on Barn Inventory Project

The Monticello Historical Society, in cooperation with the Monticello Public Library, will be having a program by Kim Tschudy on the Green County Historical Society Barn Inventory Project.
The program will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., at the Zwingli United Church of Christ, 416 E. Lake Avenue, Monticello.

Community members in the Belleville School District are invited to a special joint meeting of the Belleville School Board and the board’s Educational and Facilities Planning Committee on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the high school. The purpose of the meeting is to continue the committee’s work to find a sustainable solution to address the district’s numerous educational facilities needs.

At Habitat for Humanity, we build. We have built 20 homes in Green County since 1991. We build because we believe that everyone, everywhere, should have a healthy, affordable place to call home. More than building homes, we build communities, we build hope and we build the opportunity for families to help themselves. Habitat gives a hand up - not a hand out.
