Second Annual Cabaret Dinner Concert

Plan on attending the second annual Cabaret Dinner Concert in the Rehmstedt Gym at Monticello Schools, 334. S. Main Street, on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at 6:00 p.m.
The dinner is a fundraiser to support the Monticello Music Parents organization. This organization helps fund different music events in Monticello Schools. They also offer a scholarship to graduating seniors. There will also be a silent auction fundraiser.
Dinner is spaghetti, from Pizza Hut.

Belleville Area Cares Coalition Presents a Community Gathering:

The Belleville Area Cares Coalition, in collaboration with the Federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), will hold a community gathering called “No One Starts Out On Heroin” as part of Belleville’s Alcohol/Drug awareness initiative. The event will provide information on current trends on underage drinking and opioid abuse.

Cultivating New Frontiers

Blackhawk Technical College is expanding its agricultural program, starting next fall, by offering interested students the opportunity to earn an associate degree in Agribusiness Science and Technology at its Monroe Campus.
The Agribusiness Science and Technology (AST) program is a natural progression from the current one-year Agribusiness Specialist program, which offers a technical diploma.

WILLIAM A. LEGLER JR.

William A. Legler Jr., age 86, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 11, 2016, at Agrace HospiceCare Inc. in Fitchburg, with his family by his side. He was born on December 26, 1929, in his grandmother's house in Belleville to his parents, William and Anna (Schmid) Legler.

New Glarus Fire Department Families Present Donation

The wives and families of New Glarus Firefighters held a garage sale on April 8 and 9 to help raise funds for a fire station expansion. On Monday, April 18, they gathered to present a check in the amount $3,001.12 to the New Glarus Fire Department. The amount included $500 generously donated by UB&T.
