Della Barbara Beil, age 95 of Belleville, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at her home. She was born on February 10, 1921, to her parents, Gustave and Anna (Roeck) Stoelting in Kiel.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at the First United Church of Christ, 130 E. Church St., Belleville, WI, with the Rev. Heide Walker Hackman officiating. A graveside burial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, February 22, 2016, in the Kiel Cemetery.

The Blanchardville Woman’s Club would like to thank the Sylvester Township Board and citizen Science and Large Livestock Committees, as well as the Monroe Clinic, the DNR and Green County Board of Supervisors for all the work you have done to research possible detrimental effects on the groundwater and environment that the proposed Pinnacle Dairy would have if built in Sylvester Township. 

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will hold a second public involvement meeting for the pavement replacement of STH 69 (River Street) between STH 92 and County D in the Village of Belleville. The meeting will be held Wednesday, February 24, from 5:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m., at the Belleville Village Hall, 24 W. Main Street.
The meeting will be an open house format. Representatives from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation will be available to discuss and answer questions. A short presentation will begin at 5:15 p.m. 

Seniors need transportation for many reasons. Mainly to get where they need to go, however it may be because they no longer drive, they need help in accessing services, and even because they want or need socialization. In rural Green County, seniors who don’t drive may find themselves isolated and disconnected from the communities where they have lived and worked for many years. Some seniors even say, “If you limit your driving, you limit your life.”
