Amstutz-Marty Post #256 To Celebrate 95 Years

Dear Editor,
Amstutz-Marty Post #256 of Monticello is turning 95 years old. The Post is having a meeting on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., in the Monticello school library. Please plan to come.
We will be planning a celebration for the historical event of the Post’s 95th birthday. We would like members to come with ideas and help plan the event.
Recently, the Monroe Post building got a face-lift, paid for by a donation from Home Depot of Janesville. The donation was worth over $6,000. It’s nice to know that they appreciate what the Veterans have done.

Veterans Day Thanks

Dear Editor,
This is really late, but I would still like to thank everyone who helped with the program. It’s a lot of people working together to make this program work. Thank you for giving your time, or your talent to make it a memorable program. It’s always wonderful to hear the students honor the Veterans. So great to hear the pride in the younger children doing the Pledge!
