Attention all who attended Meadow Valley School: A reunion/gathering is planned at the school on Friday, October 11, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. As Bob Gmur said, “After we are gone, no one will have any memory of this (country school).”
Mrs. Darlene Lancaster of Monroe plans to be there. She taught at Meadow Valley the last year the school was open, from 1961-62.
Also present will be Caryl Wheeler Owen, former Technical Director for Wisconsin Public Radio’s ‘To the Best of Our Knowledge’ and ‘Wisconsin Life.’ Any participation in any interview is completely voluntary.

Many people want to give back to the community but may not have a lot of time to volunteer. In only about an hour, volunteer blood donors can help save lives and feel instant gratification.
The community is invited to give back and help save lives by donating blood on Friday, October 11, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Zwingli United Church of Christ, 416 E. Lake Avenue, Monticello.

Fall Fest is one of the best events of the year! Come join us on Wednesday, October 16th, from 5:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m., at Library Park to celebrate the fall harvest, changing weather, and a new school year.
Enjoy the music of Brianna Hardyman, lots of food, friends, and fun! Enjoy the kid’s games, balloon guy, and a cake walk with cakes made by our school’s culinary students! Do your part in preventing prescription painkiller abuse and drug overdose by participating in Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 26, 2019, from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. The Belleville Police Department will have a drive-through set up at their new police station at 61 Frederick Street.
