The PCL Center at School District of Belleville hosted the third annual PCL Summer Institute in July, in Wisconsin Dells. Belleville teachers and administrators attended as well as educators from 10 other school districts from across the state.

Hello Cheese Fans! This month’s article is part two from a discussion with my cheesemaker uncle Silvan Blum, of Chalet’s Deppeler Cheese Plant giving me the inside scoop on the process of making cheese.

The Town of New Glarus Parks Commission at their July 13th meeting presented Boy Scout Troop 106 with monies earned during distribution of trees from the commission's annual Tree Sale Program. Boy Scouts Skyler Woerpel, Wyatt Emmerton, Andrew Newberry, Brandon Woerpel, and Levi Doughty were present at the Parks Commission's monthly meeting in the Town Hall. The Boy Scouts assisted the commission with separating, documenting orders, and receiving payments during the distribution this spring.

The New Glarus American Legion Post 141, along with the Legion Auxiliary, will be holding its annual picnic on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at the Legion Hall.
The meat will be furnished, please bring a dish to pass. Spouses are invited.
Social time will be from 5:30 p.m.-6:16 p.m., eat at 6:30 p.m. The Legion meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m.
